Hello readers, the MIUI v6 Global Beta ROM is now
released for the Redmi 1S.
ABOUT THE RELEASE:-
In this GLOBAL BETA Release, the company promises to provide
regular updates every 2 weeks for Redmi 1S users. The update may have fixes of
certain bugs, users faced while operating the phone or it could be a technical
update.
So no more waiting let’s just quickly move for the
Instruction part.
INSTRUCTIONS:-
1.
Download MIUI v6 Global Beta build.(link
given below)
2.
Place the .zip file in the “downloaded_rom”
folder in the Internal Storage.
3.
Now, open the “Updater App”, go for
options (by pressing Menu button), and click on the “Select Update Package”.
4. Now, choose the downloaded ROM file(.zip
file that you placed in the ‘downloaded_rom’ folder) and click on “Update”.
Now, wait for some time for the update to complete.
When done, click on “Reboot to finish”. The phone will now restart and what you
will see after that is the New MIUI v6.

this update process has been personally tested but I still recommend you to perform all this
at YOUR OWN RISK. Please don’t hold me responsible if anything bad happens to
